INSALUS PLATFORM
Insalus is an online portal and a platform covering all activities related to safety inspection. Our inspection system provides inspection checklists for step-by-step guidance using voice recognition, automatic progress logging, and photo and video evidence recording. When discrepancies or hazards are detected, Insalus alerts the inspector and supervisors.
Our system allows anyone to create tailored inspection checklists, with complex logic for each step, using our drag-and-drop interface. No coding required.

Advanced Inspection Checklist Creation
Insalus created a proprietary tool to allow a user with no coding knowledge to make advanced inspection checklists. Using the drag-and-drop interface, the user is able to add steps of various types to their inspection (multiple choice, text answers, true/false, video recording, photo, etc.). These can include complex logic (IF/ELSE statements, AND/OR statements, and combinations of both) that trigger specific actions through our Action Widgets.
Advanced communications
Insalus uses complex logic to determine the required level of communication for each situation:
Notifications – used to notify the inspector of the next step in the current inspection being conducted or of an upcoming scheduled inspection that needs to be started.
Alerts – inform inspectors and their supervisors that a step in the inspection was either not completed or errors/omissions were identified.
Alarms – the most urgent and critical type of communication that is used in the even when hazardous conditions are identified or when immediate remediation is required. Alarms are pushed to the inspectors, their supervisors, senior stakeholders who are assigned to resolve issues within this alarm category, and service departments responsible for remediation.
Automatic report generation
Our web-based report generation engine can create custom reports based on the needs of the end-consumer.
For example, supervisors can create reports showing how the inspection was conducted and review photo and video evidence of each inspection step (if appropriate peripheral hardware was used for recording). Senior management can choose to review only highly critical steps of the inspection
Insalus Marketplace
Our platform offers a wide selection of inspection checklists for any industry. Professional associations, businesses, and individual consumers are able to create new inspection checklists tailored to specific compliance requirements. These could be internal to corporations and organizations or as required by certification authorities such as ISO.
These checklists can also be used for education and training purposes. Industry-specific inspection checklists simplify and improve the training of inspectors and help to ensure consistency and the necessary depth of knowledge.
Finally, following an inspection checklist that guides the inspector step-by-step through the process minimizes errors and reduces execution time.
Action Widgets
The Insalus platform allows users to add action widgets to each and every step of the inspection checklist. These widgets are used to initiate events based on responses provided at each step of the inspection.
Through hardware and software integrations created by Insalus, the system allows users to add the following:

Software Integration
Insalus minimizes and automates routine work by offering integration with existing ticketing and project management systems. Real-time integration with ticketing simplifies remediation by automatically creating maintenance and repair tickets. Tickets are created when omissions and hazards are detected during the inspection. This allows the system not just to document omissions but to immediately make a ticket, leading to prompt resolution.

The Insalus platform is available on both, Android and iOS and allows the connection of peripheral hardware devices directly to the phone via USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
Using the app, inspectors are able to conduct hands-free inspections thanks to built-in speech recognition that allows them to respond to questions using speech.

Cloud-based hosting
All data collected is stored on our cloud-based host. This information can be used by inspectors for analysis and reporting.
Our servers are secure, and databases are encrypted. All reports, video and photo evidence, and inspection logs are stored in an encrypted format and can only be accessed by authenticated and authorized users.
Database of Knowledge
There are a lot of best-practice guidance and knowledge available for conducting compliance and safety inspections across all industries. Insalus includes a repository of this information that can be updated by the community and moderated by professional associations or trusted partners.
This information can also be created and used by educational institutions to improve training for their students, alongside our industry-specific inspection checklists.
Image Protection
Insalus uses a proprietary method for automatic authentication of photo and video evidence collected during safety inspections that uses mathematical algorithms for key point identification and perceptual hashing for the verification of authenticity in a series of images. Our system automatically analyzes a series of images that were uploaded individually or taken from a video by using mathematics to compare them and ascertain that photo and video evidence was not tampered with. This is done by generating unique perceptual hashes for all identified key points that are present in each of the images in the series. The system takes into account different angles, lighting levels, and even photo quality to ensure accuracy.
